The resolutions need to be worked on and implemented over a period of time. :) That is how I look at them (though I have not kept any resolutions for many years now). Love your suggestions mentioned above. My personal favorite is say hello to the guy who you see working in the cafe. I do that every single time and in fact, wished them all a happy new year when I met them on the 1st of Jan... Nothing big but brought a big smile on their face... :) aah... the small pleasures of life...
